I’ve always filmed my days. Not with a plan, not for an audience, it’s just something I’ve always done. Most of those videos never went anywhere.
They stayed still, archived, unseen.
This year, I decided to bring that material into the light.
And to do it, I chose to involve family and friends.
Every month, one person receives all the footage I recorded over the previous 30 days. Nothing is curated in advance. They are free to decide what matters, what doesn’t, what to keep, what to cut. They might know me well, or not at all. And yet, through those fragments, they inevitably build a portrait, of who I am, what I’m living, what I’m becoming.
This year, I decided to bring that material into the light.
And to do it, I chose to involve family and friends.

December is the kind of edit where you don’t even get a second to breathe. With the other months, at some point you could theoretically switch video and keep scrolling during your YouTube zapping time. Here, no chance. It’s one minute of pure bam bam bam and somehow it captures the whole month of December.
Some people went for 20 minutes, some went for 1, and that’s exactly what I love about this brief: seeing the same idea through totally opposite perspectives. Long story short, this one goes insanely hard.

November was the most nostalgic month ever. Even with a million trips in the mix, Maldives, Dubai, everything, Massimo managed to put it all together and pull out a little gem. One of my favorite edits of the entire project. He’s such a softie, genuinely sweet. He did it all without giving me spoilers, and the surprise hit so hard. Hire him for anything, literally anything, and it’ll probably be better than whoever else you had in mind. He’s from Bergamo, it’s in the DNA.

October was Manuel and Roberta. Technically Roberta was supposed to edit it, but halfway through the month she still hadn’t started. Then she starts seeing a guy who makes videos, and suddenly Manuel appears. I’m joking… kind of. Let’s just say the moment she starts dating someone, she puts them to work. If you know my best friend, you know there was no other possible outcome.

September was Ste, and he fully stayed in his own universe and I loved it. His personal touch was making original beats for the edit, because yes, he’s a producer, and then building the whole video around them. Also, September was kind of a chaotic month footage-wise, because I spontaneously said yes to a trip to Japan and the amount of material went crazy.

August was Virgi, the first of the Rolle sisters. Undisputed queen. If her sister is spring, she’s literally summer. She’s pure life, you can feel it in everything she does and the care she puts into every detail. Fun fact: she edited this video on a flight to Canada, and considering how that trip went, the footage could’ve easily ended up in the lost-and-found of that vacation.

July was MOSCA! What can I say, he’s a legend. The funniest part is that he has absolutely nothing to do with video, he does something completely different. Imagine your local fruit-and-veg guy dropping an edit this detailed, that’s basically the vibe. I love that he actually put in the effort, learned DaVinci to keep the project going, and then decided to add songs, build them with AI, and throw them into the edit. Massive respect.

June was Andrea, aka Porte for friends. He’s a bit of a weird one, so I was expecting a weird edit too, but honestly he surprised me in the best way. Probably the best storytelling of the whole year, no contest. He fully deserves the award for this month.

In March, Matteo, someone I didn’t know at all, jumped into the project and landed in Copenhagen, the city I live in. His idea was to make a mini documentary: one day of my life here, plus a few little details that say something about how I’m living lately. We spent five days together and ate extremely well the whole time. Such a good experience.

The whole thing was literally born in Helsingør, in a pub, while I was eating sweet potato fries and a massive burger… and yes, I filmed that moment. The edit is a mix of random bits, probably influenced by birthday nights with friends. And even though I was far from everyone this year, my birthday still felt weirdly close.
